Street lights:
I love the way this photo turned out! I actually didn't even knew that I could do something like this with my camera until I started experimenting with it cause of this photography class. I think that not only the lights make it special, but also the car which you can still see in right corner. I also like that the background is kind of out of focus and the foreground is in focus and you can even see details of the lights. |
Seeing stars:
I think that this photo captures your attention by the way how the boy´s eyes look and how the light reflects in them. I am not sure what actually made me take this photo, but I think I just wanted to try something new. The boy has a very strong expression, mostly because of his eyes and his dark eyebrows. You feel like he tries to tell you something. I love the way how the photo seems kind of mysterious in my opinion and how he looks right into the camera. |
Wires:
What inspired me to take this photo was our framing project.
At first I wasn't even sure if I should use it, but the more I looked at it, the more I liked it.
As always, I really like the color (this time of the wood) and also the contrast between the almost black beam and the nearly white looking sky in the background.
I love how you are able to see the structure of the wood and how the wires in between look like.
I think it is a very interesting photo because you can't tell where it was taken. It could have been in a favela somewhere for example in spain or in a street in Bangkok filled with homeless people and running children...

Everybody screams ice cream!:
I took this photo back in Germany. This is in my opinion the world´s best ice cream...ever...No doubt! It is called ice cream like whipped cream and I can only agree. Coincidently I also painted my nails properly. I like the depth of the field in this photo with the blurry background and the acuity in the foreground. I think this looks kind of like a tumblr photo and it is unique in its own way. |
Sommerregen:
Another photo from Germany! I took this one on our balcony shortly before I left. I always admired these flowers. They are so beautiful and I like it that they like "close" during the night so it seems like they are sleeping. Another thing that inspired me taking this photo was how peaceful it felt just sitting next to the flowers an listening to our little "water dripping down a kind of fountain" thing. I just felt like capturing this moment forever. These flowers have amazingly bright colors, like you can see on this picture. I like the way the flower is in focus and you can see a lot of details. |
0016:
This photo was taken on my best friends and my 16th birthday party. We chose pairs and a motto for each pair and they were supposed to come dressed depending on their motto. I like how these two kept it pretty simple and "James Bond" like. In my opinion this photo tells a story and it seems kind of mysterious. The frame makes it look like a wedding picture, which was actually also on purpose. It is like the "a little bit different wedding". |
´Cause we are not the only ones dreaming...:
In my opinion it is pretty hard to capture an animal in a photo the way I like it too...
I mean...you can't tell them what they are supposed to do, they just do whatever they want to.
But this is also the reason why I love taking photos of animals. They are unpredictable, but can be better models than any human.
I love this photo because I feel like the bear has dreams too, just like humans.
He looks so fluffy and harmless on the one side, but one the other side he looks strong and demanding. Like as if he knew that he could easily adverse anybody who stands in his way.
I really like the lightning in this photo, how it shines on his face and how this makes the photo look warm and friendly.
It almost feels like he is searching for freedom in the distance.
