Photography - Term 3
In Term 2 I started getting more into taking pictures of random people or objects, instead of portraits.
I got used to all the different features on my camera and by now it is a lot easier for me to take pictures.
I don't think that my style in Photography changed a lot.
Walking around with a camera in my hand is one of the best feelings. Being able to capture moments in life, to capture things that I might forget in a few years.
The pictures I took here are going to be my memory of my year here in Canada now that it is almost over.
I am grateful that I was able to learn so much about Photography, to start working with photoshop and to improve my technique.
My goal for next year is to keep taking pictures and update my Website with new things, new experiences.

Photography - Term 1
Before I started with Photography I was not really worrying about anything. I didn't really knew how to change the settings on my camera
so that the picture would look the way I'd like it to.
Normally I just took pictures of things I thought would look nice and that actually worked out quite good.
When I started this class I immediately felt like something changed. I did not only try to capture objects or persons in a nice way, I also tried to capture them in different ways... like to use depth of the field, shutter speed or aperture...
I worked with Photoshop before, but only for my internship at an architecture office.
They showed me how to show the house I planned in 3D and how to add trees and other things to it.
I had a lot of fun doing this, but I still didn't knew how to edit pictures with Photoshop.
When I tried to edit a photo on it, I felt so lost...
Using Photoshop here in class really helped me! I hope that we will learn a lot more about it and that by the end of this year I'd be able
to do things like the levitation project as well.
Since I started this class I've begun to see photography not only as "taking random pictures", but as a form of art and there are so many things one can do with a photo...My goal for next term is to improve my techniques and to take a lot more pictures!
